Cardigani DB Jacket
An icon in the making, the Cardigani DB Jacket is crafted from superfine Merino wool sustainably grown in the New England region of New South Wales that has been knitted in Italy into a classic flannel cloth. An M.J. Bale 'decon' jacket, it is created with natural, unstructured shoulders and is stripped of internal padding to be lightweight and supple. It is half-lined and cut to our Slim Fit in an elegant double-breasted silhouette.
M.J. Bale has offset the approx. 43.5 avg. kg of CO2e generated in the production of this garment in green projects. M.J. Bale is Climate Active certified as Australia's first fully carbon neutral brand, covering both products and organisation. We have measured and offset 100% of our Scope 1-3 emissions in green projects.

Made according to our Neapolitan-inspired 'decon' technique, the Cardigani is the most lightweight and supple DB you will ever wear. (Fun fact: we named it the 'Cardigani' because of its cardigan-like feel). The noble wool in this garment has been sourced from RWS-certifed wool growers in New South Wales and woven in Italy by the centuries-old Vitale Barberis Canonico. One of our 'garments of integrity', consider this an heirloom piece.
