    Woven and Made in Wakayama, Japan, the Kogen shirt is for the connoisseur, the aficionado who has an appreciation for impeccable craftsmanship. It is constructed with single needle French side seams and features shaped side gussets, a four-piece back split yoke, two back double pleats, four pleats at cuff and mother of pearl buttons. It is supple and comfortable with a super soft handfeel, and if cared for properly will last years.

    This garment has been entirely woven and made in our atelier in Japan's Tamura-city in the Fukushima Prefecture. While almost 50 km from the Fukushima nuclear disaster of 2011, parts of the Tamura-city were evacuated for over a year. It gives us great pleasure to work with these highly skilled partners and help them in our own small way with their economic recovery. Limited edition in number and imbued with many great 'unseen details' (see Performance), the quality and craftsmanship of the shirts cannot be overstated.
