    M.J. Bale's partner mill, Olmetex, has woven this garment's fabric. Based in Como, in the north of Italy, Oletex has been creating water-resistant tech fabrics for 70 years. The company controls all stages of production, from spinning, warping, weaving and finishing to the final quality control, which is all done in the factory here in Como. Olmotex's innovations include the development and use of biodegradable yarns, bio-nylon and vegetable-based resins. They only use GOTS-certified cotton and are GRS (Global Recycling Standard) certified.

    Made from a water-resistant blend of 32% cotton and 68% polyester, this fabric combines the natural comfort of cotton with the hard wearing durability and wrinkle-resistant qualities of polyester. The blend ensures there is reduced shrinkage compared to a pure cotton garment and is tear-resistant.
