Part A: Applicability of these Terms
The promotions and discounts are subject to Australian Consumer Law and that nothing in the terms excludes or limits the consumer rights provided under the ACL. Any changes to the Promotions and Discounts terms and conditions are updated through website updates.
These terms and conditions apply in conjunction with any other applicable terms and conditions or policies set out www.mjbale.com (online), and set out the terms on which Newbale Clothing Pty Ltd (M.J. Bale, we, us and our) offers to its customers promotions, discounts and offers, including but not limited to percentage off offers, red ticket discounts, bundle, MJB Members’ program offers, including member multi-buy offer, member spend and receive offer, coupon codes and MJB Members rewards (Promotions) as well as M.J Bale gift cards (Gift Card) and partnership reward cards (Partnership Reward) and credit notes (Credit Note) (Promotion Terms).
If you sign up to our MJB Members’ Program, obtain and or use any Gift Card, or Partnership Reward card, or Credit Note, you warrant and represent to us that you:
- Are over the age of 18 or if you are under the age of 18, you must obtain your parent or guardians’ consent; and
- Have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Promotional Terms, in conjunction with any other applicable terms and conditions or policies set out on our website.
Definitions and General Promotion Terms
In these terms, the following terms have the meanings set out below:
- online means M.J. Bale website (www.mjbale.com);
- premium stores mean any M.J. Bale branded free-standing stores;
- department store means any Myer or David Jones concession stores;
- department online store means Myer online (www.myer.com.au) and David Jones online (www.davidjones.com);
- outlet stores mean any M.J. Bale stores in an outlet mall or outlet precinct;
- markdown refers to red ticket M.J. Bale products /styles in stores and permanent markdown online. Permanent markdown online is indicated by original pricing with a strikethrough and new pricing underneath;
- cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotion, discount or offer;
- are non-transferable and non-redeemable in cash; and
- cannot be used to purchase Gift Cards or any excluded items.
Part B: Specific Promotional Terms
The below terms and conditions apply to the respective Promotions. These terms are subject to change by M.J. Bale from time to time without notice. You should always check for the current terms and conditions applicable to a Promotion at the time of the publication of the Promotion.
Bale Frenzy Sale | Up to 60% Off Markdown Styles* (Red ticket styles)

PART A: Terms and Conditions of Bale Bonus Voucher
Bale Bonus Vouchers will be issued only via Email to selected Members.
Bale Bonus Vouchers can only be redeemed in premium stores on full-price styles.
Please note no Bale Bonus Vouchers can be used in Outlets.
All Bale Bonus Vouchers issued under this promotion must be used by 11:59 PM (AEST) on 27th April 2026, after which they will automatically expire.
Each Bale Bonus Voucher issued under these terms can only be used once and if not used in full will automatically expire once part of the Bale Bonus Voucher is used.
Transactions paid fully or partially with Bale Bonus Voucher are non-refundable for cash and the Bale Bonus Voucher will not be reinstated upon the return of a product, whether in-store or online except where the product is faulty or where we are required by law to accept a return, exchange or refund of the product, in which case the Bale Bonus Voucher utilised for this transaction will be reissued.

M.J. BALE Customer Satisfaction Competition 2025 Terms & Conditions

Gift Vouchers & Credit Notes
Gift Voucher Terms
- Gift Vouchers can be used at any M.J. Bale store and online on M.J. Bale products. Gift Vouchers cannot be purchased using Promotions, or by using other Gift Vouchers, unless otherwise specified by M.J. Bale.
- Gift Vouchers are valid for three (3) years from date of issue, irrespective of when a recipient of a Gift Voucher may receive the Gift Voucher. Gift Vouchers are not valid after the expiry date and any amounts remaining or unused on the Gift Voucher are non-refundable.
- Gift Vouchers are non-re-loadable and may not be redeemed for cash. Gift Vouchers are not legal tender, account/credit/debit cards or securities and no transaction statements will be sent to you regarding your Gift Vouchers. You are not permitted to sell your Gift Voucher and you cannot obtain any cash advance with your Gift Vouchers.
- Please treat Gift Vouchers as cash. Lost, stolen or damaged cards may not be able to be replaced or refunded.
Credit Note Terms
- Credit Notes are only redeemable in-store on the purchase of M.J Bale products.
- Credit Notes are valid for twelve (12) months from date of issue. Gift Vouchers are not valid after the Expiry Date and any amounts remaining or unused on the Gift Voucher are non-refundable.
- Credit Notes are not redeemable on Gift Vouchers, alterations and custom suits and shirts.
- Please treat Credit Notes as cash. Lost, stolen or damaged Credit Notes cannot be replaced or refunded.
Redeeming A Gift Voucher Or Credit Note
- If you wish to redeem a Gift Voucher or Credit Note, you authorise us to reduce the value of your Gift Voucher or Credit Note by the value of the purchase, that purchase being subject to any applicable conditions of sale.
- If the purchase does not exceed the amount of the Gift Voucher or Credit Note, any remaining amounts will remain on the Gift Voucher or Credit Note, and may be used on future purchases, valid to the same expiry date. Change will not be given for any remaining amounts on a Gift Voucher or Credit Note.
- If a purchase exceeds the value of the Gift Voucher or Credit Note, the remaining amount must be paid for using another payment method, such as cash or debit/credit card.
- When a Gift Voucher or Credit Note reaches zero (0) balance, it is no longer valid.
- All Gift Vouchers and Credit Notes remain property of M.J. Bale. Invalid Gift Vouchers or Credit Notes may be destroyed by you or returned to M.J. Bale.
Returns
Where a refund is issued for a product purchased wholly or partially with a Gift Voucher or Credit Note, you agree that any part of the purchase made by Gift Voucher or Credit Note may be refunded to the original Gift Voucher or Credit Note, or alternatively, such refund may be provided in the form of any alternative Gift Voucher or Credit Note of the equivalent amount instead of other tender.
Any amounts paid by other tender will be refunded in the same tender to the same account in which the purchase was made.
Cancellations
To the maximum extent permitted by law, M.J. Bale reserves the right to cancel, void or alter the balance of a Gift Voucher or Credit Note at any time without notice to you, including where a Gift Voucher is used for illegal purposes, defrauded, stolen, defaced or mutilated, altered, issued in error or otherwise tampered with in any way.
