An M.J. Bale icon in the making, the Newcomb Cable Cardigan is knitted from a luxe blend of Italian-spun linen and wool that has been knitted in a mid-weight cable stitch. Cut to our Regular Fit and designed with a five-button closure, it features ribbed trims at the neck, hem and sleeve cuffs.
M.J. Bale has offset the approx. 24.1 avg. kg of CO2e generated in the production of this garment in green projects. M.J. A trans-seasnonal classic, the Newcomb is an expertly-designed cable cardigan that adds verve and panache to every outfit, whether layered over casual combos or under tailoring. It is made from a premium linen-wool blend, which combines the rough-hewn texture of linen with the softness, comfort and breathability of Merino wool. The flax in the linen is sourced from European Flax-certified growers, while the Merino wool is RWS-certified (Responsible Wool Standard). This is a garment of integrity, one to consider as an heirloom piece.
