Fibre Source
A noble natural fibre, cashmere comes from the soft undercoat of cashmere goats, predominantly in Mongolia. With its relatively dry climate, including hot summers and cold winters, Mongolia provides the ideal grazing conditions for cashmere goats to grow their luxurious and insulating undercoat.
Grown in predominantly warm or temperate climates, cotton is harvested from the fluffy bolls of cotton plants. High-quality cotton fibres are soft, smooth, breathable and have superior durability.
When woven together cashmere and cotton become the yin to the other fibre's yang. Cashmere provides softness, lightness and a luxurious next-of-skin feel, while cotton adds strength and durability.
