Part of M.J. Bale's artisanal 'Made in Japan' collection, the Kobo Shirt is meticulously crafted in our atelier located in Wakayama, Japan. Composed from a premium 100% cotton poplin and cut to our slim fit silhouette, this shirt is finished with a classic collar, mother of pearl buttons and a curved shirt tail design.
M.J. Bale has offset the approx. 17.2 avg. kg of CO2e generated in the production of this garment in green projects. M.J. Bale is Climate Active certified as Australia's first fully carbon neutral brand, covering both products and organisation. We have measured and offset 100% of our Scope 1-3 emissions in green projects.

Woven and Made in Wakayama, Japan, the Kobo shirt is for the connoisseur, the aficionado who has an appreciation for impeccable craftsmanship. It is constructed with single needle French side seams and features shaped side gussets, a four-piece back split yoke, two back double pleats, four pleats at cuff and mother of pearl buttons. It is supple and comfortable with a super soft handfeel, and if cared for properly will last years.
