Kamakiri Selvedge Jean
Part of M.J. Bale's artisanal 'Made in Japan' collection, the Kamakiri Selvedge Jean is crafted at our atelier located in Kojima, Japan. They are made from premium 100% cotton selvedge denim that has been woven by Kuroki mills in Okayama on vintage looms, then naturally dyed in a deep indigo. These jeans are cut in a regular straight leg fit and feature contrast selvedge detailing, traditional worker inspired back pockets and M.J. Bale branded hardware. Only 100 pieces produced in total.
M.J. Bale has offset the approx. 30.4 avg. kg of CO2e generated in the production of this garment in green projects. M.J. Bale is Climate Active certified as Australia's first fully carbon neutral brand, covering both products and organisation. We have measured and offset 100% of our Scope 1-3 emissions in green projects.
