Inspired by vintage fisherman's knits, the Fairisle Half-Zip is crafted from 100% extrafine Merino wool that is knitted in a mid weight jersey construction. It features a traditional graphic jacquard Fairisle pattern and a half-zip neck for perfect protection against the elements.

One of M.J. Bale's greatest winter knits, the Fairisle Half-Zip is an icon in the making. Its jacquard Fairisle pattern harks back to the traditional knits worn on Scotland's Shetland Islands in the 19th and 20th centuries. Eminently soft and comfortable to wear, we think it is a stylish (and smart) replacement for a jacket for when you need a cosy day while on the hop.
