Regular Fit
The Corleone Suit is woven in Italy from 100% cotton with a washed pinstripe design that mirrors linen’s breezy look while retaining cotton’s softness and structure. Tailored to a Regular Fit, the single-breasted jacket features a wide notch lapel, deconstructed shoulder and half-lined interior for effortless lightness. Refined details — from functioning sleeve buttons and patch pockets to subtle AMF stitching — elevate its relaxed form. The matching trousers, cut in the same breathable cloth, offer a flat front, tailored waistband with side adjusters and a clean, hemmed leg for an easy, polished silhouette. Completing the trio, the Slim Fit double-breasted waistcoat adds depth and sharpness with welt hip pockets, a self-fabric back and deconstructed internals for comfort. Designed for sunlit occasions and sophisticated escapes, the Corleone Suit blends Italian charm with contemporary tailoring — relaxed in spirit, refined in execution.

Construction

While the term might sound like a misnomer, M.J. Bale's 'decon' technique, used in the construction of some of our jackets, is actually what it says it is: a method of tailoring to construct a garment in the most unstructured, soft and lightweight way possible. It is a sartorial technique commonly associated with Neapolitan tailoring. It means the jackets are crafted with minimal padding and internal construction, allowing the fabric to drape naturally over the body. This creates a softer, more fluid silhouette that follows the contours of the wearer without excessive stiffness or structure. With Australia's spring-summer climate mostly mirroring that of Mediterranean summers, the decon technique also helps Australian men stay cool and unflustered while being sartorially stylish.
